Big Fish Radio

Saturday nights are usually spent with friends or a significant other. But if for any reason you cannot go out for a gimmick or party, you can always count on your radio for some good music.

It was one lonely Saturday months ago, while I was doing some backlog work at the office (at 10pm), when I tuned to Magic 89.9 FM and liked the ‘thump-thumping’ beats from the song playing. Later I found out that it was the ‘Big Fish Radio’ program and that plays every Saturday night.

So when (a) I’m broke; (b) my friends are not available; (c) I have nothing to wear; (d) I’m too lazy to go out, I just turn on the radio at 9pm, push the volume up until the room pulsates with every ‘thud’ and ’boom’. It’s like being in the real party… but you’re all alone.

God I’m such a dork.
